THE STORY

Hi :) My name is Alexis and thank you for taking the time to read my story.
I’ve always believed that the way we are raised and the things we are exposed to as kids play a vital role in who we become. For that reason, I consider myself so lucky to have grown up in a family of entrepreneurs. At a young age, I've always had this passion to someday own my own business. In 2006, I began working at my uncle’s screen printing company. What started as a simple reception position, eventually lead to sales, graphic design, accounting, shipping, production management, and even cleaning a bathroom here and there. You name it, I did it. Over the years, as I helped others cultivate their brands and businesses, I knew that someday I wanted to start a brand of my own.
In 2016, my first daughter was born. I had so much fun dressing my little mini, but at the time, it was hard to find slightly mature-looking clothing with colors and prints that I loved wearing. I felt an urge to create a brand for parents! Something that would make them reminisce about their childhoods, yet, still be current with today’s trends. After 13 years of working in the industry, I had finally found my niche! I acquired countless valuable skills, first-hand experience, and most importantly, the “entrepreneurial guts” to create  .
I am beyond grateful to be able to pursue something I have always wanted to do, along with raising a family. I'm so fortunate to have the most amazing, supportive husband, Rory, and three beautiful daughters, Nomi, Leeloo, and Remi. While there is no magic formula for being a successful entrepreneur, I am so eager to learn on this journey and thank you so much for being a part of it. My goal is to be more than a cool clothing brand, but to inspire. It's never too late to pursue your dreams. Love is rare, so grab it. Memories are precious, so cherish them. Life is short, so let's live it!

What Does Kawaii Mean?
I was raised in a multicultural family, but I've always been drawn to my Japanese heritage. Japanese kawaii culture is the culture of cuteness. Kawaii is more than just a word to Japanese people. The word itself has taken on a persona of cute, loveable, adorable, and has evolved to mean someone or something with no negative traits. Just super positive vibes all around!!!
